VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help co-ordinate and marshal the multitude of events planned for the 2010 Rose of Tralee International Festival.
The duties of the volunteers over the week of the Festival may include: Artist Liaisons, Production & Technical Assistants, Volunteer Supervisors, Performance Stewards and Hospitality Facilitators as well as Park Stewards and the traditional Stage, Parade and Street closure Stewards.
All volunteers will be given Health & Safety training which will run over a half day and will be facilitated by the HSE, Civil Defence, Kerry County Council, Red Cross and the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
Volunteers will be provided with access to a Food Hall while on their breaks. The job comes with a chance to win the ‘Volunteer of the Festival’ award and the privilege of automatic membership to the Volunteers Club and of course the end of Festival ‘Wrap it Up’ Party.
No previous experience is required, but we suggest you read through the application form and Volunteer Policy to make sure you understand what each role requires.

The Back to Basics Street Festival is supported by Jigsaw Kerry, a youth mental health initiative which involves the whole community in better supporting young people’s mental health and well-being and which is currently working to bring together the supports which can help young people get through difficult times.
