Welcome to the Roscommon Rose Centre!

We are part of the Rose of Tralee International Festival and hold our annual Roscommon Rose Selection Night to find our next Roscommon Rose.

The search for the 2012 Roscommon Rose will take place for the third year running in the splendour of Kilronan Castle in picturesque Ballyfarnon, Co. Roscommon on Easter Saturday 7th April 2012.

Our current Roscommon Rose 2011 is Roisin Guihen - who made it all the way to the International Festival in Tralee last August and did Roscommon extremely proud!

Our 2011 Roscommon Escort is Shane Lannon, he also participated in Tralee last year and was partnered with the Derby Rose Niamh McTeigue.

Roscommon has had great success in Tralee over the last few years.
We have had 2 roses representing the county at the televised final in 2008 (Caitriona O Connor) and last year - 2011. Our escort in 2010 Donal Gill was International Rose of Tralee Clare Kambamettu's escort and spent the year at various functions with the Rose. We hope to emulate these recent successes in 2012!

Our Roses & Escorts will be unveiled at the Launch of the Roscommon Rose of Tralee Selection Event on Saturday 10th March in Oscar's Party Venue, Roscommon at 7.30pm sharp. All are welcome and it will be a great opportunity to meet all the Roses. Refreshments will be provided and music will be by DJ Seamus Duke. Don't forget tickets will also be going on sale for the Gala Selection Ball in Kilronan Castle on 7th April at the Launch. To purchase tickets also phone 0867395330
