Niamh Grogan GALWAY
Niamh Grogan Brennan became Rose of Tralee in 1992 representing Galway, and was the second Galway Rose to win the title
I am now living in Carlow and working as a Sales Manager with MARS Ireland. I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse and I left practice a number of years before Tralee to develop my career in sales with Chanelle Veterinary in Loughrea, Galway - they gave me fantastic support during my time as Rose as did the wonderful people on the Galway Rose committee - especially Patsy & Teresa Conway!
I joined the veterinary division of MARS Ireland in 1993, and married Conal Brennan in 1996. We have 3 gorgeous kids: Cian & Oscar - twins 6-years-old, and Sadhbh – 3-years-old.
The Festival was a really memorable time for me, my family & my friends.
The night I won was just the most amazing part of the whole experience - I remember pretty much every moment of that night & how excited we all were. I also remember thinking that if someone like me could win the Rose of Tralee then anything was possible!
