A visitor experience for the Culturally Curious along the Wild Atlantic Way, the Kingdom of Kerry and our International Folk Theatre at Siamsa Tíre, Tralee.
9.45am-10am – Registration at the Rose Hotel – Rose Box Office and welcome introduction by your personal guide
10am – Depart the Rose Hotel for Dunquin the most westerly point in Europe
11.15am – The Blasket Centre / Ionad an Bhlascaoid Mhóir in Dún Chaoin celebrates the story of the Blasket Islanders, the unique literary achievements of the island writers and their native language, culture and tradition.
1.30pm – Depart the Blasket Visitor Centre for Dingle town with all its wonderful sights, sounds and famous eateries OR
1.30pm – Dingle Distillery – (Age 16 years and over) The Dingle Distillery welcomes visitors to enjoy a tour of our facility where the entire production process, for all our products, are explained and a gin/vodka sample is provided. Our distillery tour will give you an introduction into Irish whiskey and into the Dingle Distillery.
3.30pm – Depart Dingle for Tralee
7.30pm – Learn our Culture - Why not really immerse yourself in the Siamsa experience and learn an Irish Dance or an Irish Song before you attend a show?
8.30pm – Oileán at Siamsa Tire Theatre, Tralee - Presented by the members of the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, Oileán (Irish word for Island) celebrates and explores Blasket Island in a moving, emotional and lively presentation. This is a glorious visual, musical and magical performance presented using the best of traditional arts – dance, song and live music, guaranteed to stay with you long after you leave the theatre!
The trip cost covers coach transfer, entrance to The Blasket Centre ,(Dingle Distillery) , Traditional Workshop and ticket to 'Oileán ' the show at Siamsa Tire, Tralee
