Monday 20th August, 9:30am - 12:30pm

  • Kerry County Museum & Rose of Tralee International Festival
  • Audio Visual Room, Kerry County Museum
  • Co. Kerry

Fact or Fiction? This symposium explores the fascinating history of the Mulchinock family and their role in the town's most famous love story: The Rose of Tralee.

Kerry County Museum is delighted to host this interactive event organised by the Rose of Tralee International Festival. The symposium aims to lead to the establishment of a working group to map the history of the Mulchinocks, their relationship with Tralee and their role in the tragic romantic tale of William and Mary. Local historians will present their prelimary findings and interested members of the public are invited to join in and contribute to the symposium.
